Background

Mahmood, a 9-year-old Iraqi boy developed a deformed right foot condition after a run over injury. The skin of the top right foot was scarred while the foot had developed rigid deformity. He was unable to use his right foot properly or wear normal shoes. He had difficulty in walking, running and squatting properly.

Diagnosis

Outcome

Post-surgery, Mahmood had a completely corrected, mobile and balanced right foot with neat and aesthetic skin cover. He could now walk, run and squat with ease andwear normal shoes too.
